Hard Gate Boxing (Ying Men Ch'uan) is a rare martial art practiced only in Jiangxi Province. In its original form it was called Yi He Quan -
the style originally practiced by the members of Yi He Tuan, secret society which participated in Boxers Rebellion in 1899. During Qing
Dynasty the style was transmitted to Jiangxi from Guangdong Province and became one of the three most famous styles there. It is an
external style which stresses hardness, speed and power. Its routines are short, easy to learn with clear fighting applications.
